Growth Syndicates Australia (GSA, we, us or our) is committed to providing quality services and protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we manage personal information.

  • information about your interest in, or involvement with, a GSA project;
  • investment, payment, distribution or taxation-related information needed to administer our relationship with you;
  • identity-verification information where reasonably required;
  • professional, financial or other information you provide when dealing with us; and

If you do not provide information we reasonably require, we may be unable to respond to your enquiry, administer your relationship with us or provide a requested service.

Why we collect, hold, use and disclose information

You may opt out at any time by using an unsubscribe facility in the communication or contacting us. We will action opt-out requests within a reasonable period.

Sensitive information

Sensitive information includes information about matters such as health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade-union or professional-association membership, sexual orientation and criminal records. We do not ordinarily seek sensitive information. If it is reasonably necessary for our activities, we will collect and use it only with your consent or where authorised or required by law.

Disclosure to third parties

We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to:

  • related project entities and authorised representatives;
  • legal, accounting, taxation, finance, property, construction and other professional advisers;

We do not sell personal information.

Overseas disclosure and storage

Some technology or cloud service providers we use may store or process information outside Australia. The countries involved may vary depending on the provider and its infrastructure. Where the Privacy Act applies, we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas handling is consistent with applicable privacy requirements. Our website and hosting providers may collect standard technical information needed to operate, secure and diagnose the website.
